Reason pushed the food around her plate with her fork. She sighed to herself, suddenly lacking an appetite. When would Xylina need her next? What was in store for her here at this beautiful palace, with these beautifully powerful people? Reason's eyes glazed over as she thought of a certain memory with her best friend, Eriq. Her face began to heat up, and blush was evident on her face as she replayed the memory.

Gabrielle took a quick glance out the window and frowned. She had lost track of time and or the moon. It was coming up into the sky, full and illuminous, scratching at her bones. A Full moon tonight. A very full moon tonight. She went back to her friends and smiled apologetically and stood up. "I must take my leave. Excuse me everyone. Thank you for the company. I hope to see you soon around he Palace." She smiled, bowed slightly to the two and took her plate, putting it in the sink. She then went to the door, put her hand on the knob and then turned to them again.

"Umm...take care. Be safe. You're in my prayers." She then quickly left down the hall, out to the pond.

Sin looked at the werewolf curiously. "All right..same with you..." Once Gabrielle had left, Sinexus turned to Reason, "What do you think is eating her?" He finished his pasta and wiped his mouth, looking at the obviously bothered elf. "Should I maybe just leave? I don't want to be a burden..."

Reason looks up suddenly and blinks. "Why would you be a burden?" She looks out the window after noticing Gabrielle's unhappy gaze towards the glowing brilliance of the moon. "Sinexus...She's a werewolf. It's a full moon tonight...I can't imagine what she must go through..."

Sin looked to the window...noticing the full moon for the first time. "Oh..." He looked down, feeling a little shamed. He wanted to speak up, but couldn't seem to find anything to say. He looked towards the plates. "Are you...um...done with your plate?" he asked, offering to clean both his and her dishes, as well as the one Gabrielle had placed in the sink.

"Ah," She looks down at her half eaten plate and nods, "yes, I'm quite done." Reason stands taking her plate with her. She also picks up her empty glass and takes it to the sink, where she begins to run hot water.

Sin looked at the elf as she stood and moved towards the sink with her dishes. "No...that's quite all right...you don't have to do the dishes." Sin moved towards her with his dishes to take over the dish washing. "Please allow me to.."

Reason just looks at him with a slightly worried expression. "Alright..." She whispers. She steps aside and lets him have the area around the sink. "I believe I'll be leaving now. I'm rather tired and I'll think I'll retire to my room for the night. Good night, Sinexus." She smiles and turns around and walks out of the kitchen.

Sinexus merely had an empty look as he scrubbed the dishes with his blue hands. Why did he feel so vacant? He was alone now and merely looked around him to observe the kitchen. So many strange things were here. It was upon this vacant sight-seeing that Sin was washing a knife, and although it was a butter knife, he managed to swiftly move his finger along the edge without realizing it, cutting it to draw blood. "Ah shit!!" he exclaimed as the soap entered the open wound, causing a rather strong stinging sensation. A mixture of blue skin, white foam, and scarlet blood now stood before the howling shape shifter, it seemed as though days had gone by just by the slight agony of this small cut. It always seems to be the smallest wounds which hurt us the most.

Reason re-enters the kitchen and sits at the counter, breathing heavily. Would Mistress Xylina approve of her wandering around the palace outskirts that late at night? Whatever will happen to that poor soul she tried to help in the woods. She winces as she remembers his claws digging into her side and her back hitting the tree...

Sin, having no idea where to have gone as well as being afraid of wandering the palace without a guide had fallen asleep as a small boy underneath the sink. He had been used to sleeping in such small places and was quite comfortable. However, he heard somebody enter the kitchen for the first time since he had fallen asleep and decided to peak his head out curiously. "Hel-hello?" he asked out in a child-like voice befitting his current form.

Reason jumped at the voice. She blinked and walked around behind the island counter and saw a boy's head sticking out from beneath the sink. "What are you doing down there? That's not a very safe place to sleep..." She kneels beside the boy, wincing as her scars twist, making a stabbing pain in her side where...that demon boy tore out her skin...

Sin stepped out quickly and stretched a bit as he saw it was Reason. Having seen a wince of pain from her, he jumped quickly, changing to his true form and immediately asked, "Reason...are you all right?" His instinct was to immediately check the area of pain, but he knew not what made her wince.

Reason slowly stands and nods curtly. "Yes...my blood hasn't completely healed the wound yet, but I'm alright..." Her right hand crosses across her stomach and rests on the scars on her left hip.

Sin quickly got up and helped her to a chair. "It seems like its been forever....Tell me what happened...please," he said with a worried smile, hoping to comfort his elven friend.
