Fuoco Village

Kaosu walked into the town with the breeze flowing behind him. He had finally returned to his home land after his long trip away. He stopped to breath in deeply the cold fresh air around him and then continued to walk into the market center.

Reason arrives in the village square from Fuoco Forest and into Fuoco Village. Her stomach hurt intensely with a sort of gravitational pull in a certain direction. Her instincts had told her to leave her friend in the palace and to come here. For whatever reason, Reason needed to be here in Fuoco Village. But...why?

She looks around and then brings the hood of her shirt up over her head, disguising her long, pink locks.

He looked at all the merchants around him, they all sell there goods to keep themselves alive. While they remain conscious and the world spins, the dark hearts inside keep all the secrets. The dead ground below Kaosu moves as he does and balance stays in place. Kaosu looks to the sky with the shinning sun and takes a deep breath then moves on. After awhile of random guidance he finds himself in the town square and staring at the beautiful fountain that fills the center of it.

Reason feels a tug in her stomach urging her on to the center of the town square. She turns her body as she walks, looking all around her. The bustling streets are filled with shop owners and buyers. Kids running around with toys and scolding mothers with baskets of delicious fresh bread other foods. Reason finds herself before the glorious fountain in the town square. Why does it feel like she's going to see someone she knows? There couldn't possibly be someone she knows here...

Kaosu stares at the fountain for a period of time. He stood still without a breath, as if his body was sleeping but his mind awake. He soon broke from the gaze and his eyes set upon a young women with pink hair. Kaosu's mind twitches as memories of the girl flow threw his conscious.

Reason suddenly feels the itching uncomforting feeling of someone watching her. She gazes towards the other side of the fountain, only to lock eyes with a strangely familiar looking man. Reason gasps quietly and clutches at her chest as she realizes it's the man she tried to help in the woods. The one with the demonic mask that threw her against the tree...

Kaosu stood there as his heart shot electricity through out his body. Time stood still, so many things happening and colliding in a single second. He stood there and when he finally gained his conscious back he looked away and walked off in the other direction.

Time seemed to freeze for Reason as she and the stranger looked into one another's eyes. A wind blew and her hood fell to rest around her shoulders. Everything seemed to spin and the voices of children laughing were making her head hurt. The spinning got worse and all she could hear was the laughter as she reached her hand out towards the man. "Wait!" She called out as he began to turn away. "Wait!" She yells once more. She takes a step forth and faints, collapsing onto the hard coblestone street around the fountain.

He ignored the cries that echoed into his ears. Although he flinched he pressed on... yet until he heard the sound of a innocent girl hitting the stone ground. Kaosu's face twinged with sorrow and the thoughts of moralities raced threw his empty voice. He slowly turned, his body and mind tried to be a cold as the ground beneath his feet but his heart could not... atleast to this person. With his cold eyes he looked at the girl and he walked over to farther examine her.

Reason lay there as a small crowd of children surround her. "What do ya think is wrong wit her?" one of them asks. Another child shrugs and pokes her with the toes of his boot. Reason's eyes flutter open and she lays there as the children scream and run away. "Ah, hell..." Reason mutters and just lays on the cobblestone street staring up at the rooftops of buildings and at the cloudless blue sky. She thought the man had just left her there. She really should get up. She honestly wanted to talk to him...She felt such a strange and weird connection to him....

Ikusa walks into the town staring at his feet. His large weapon and the screech it makes draws uneeded attention to him by the town guards.

"Oi! You! With the big axe, stop right tthere!"

Ikusa looks up wide eyed, startled by the guards yelling. He looks behind him, not knowing the guards are talking to him at all. "Large axe? There is no man here with a large axe...that I can see at least..."

The guards come to a stop in front of him. "Oi, you little bugger! Don't play stupid with us! Do you have a permit for that thing?" Guard 1 asks. Guard 2 crosses his arms and attempts to be intimidating.

Ikusa merely blinks and begins to walk past the guards. As he brushes past guard 1, the guard makes the mistake of grabbing Ikusa by his shoulder.


G1:"Oi, boy, did we say you could go?"
G2: "Yeah little boy, did we say you could go?
G1: "Do you have a permit or not for that weapon?"
G2:" Yeah, do ya?"

The physical contact kicks Ikusa's primal instincts of survival and alertness into high gear. He grabs the man's wrist tightly, as so the guard cannot pull away. "Don't worry...this shall only hurt for a long while.." Ikusa smiles, showing his teeth and then slams an open palm into the face of the mans protruding elbow. The result is a sickening snap and a wail of agony escaping fro the guards lips. The guard collapses to his knees and holds his now useless arm. The second guard goes for his sword, but is too late. Ikusa pounces upon the man and grabs the man's head by both sides. "Hehehee...gonna go snap.." He twists the man's neck sharply to the right, breaking it with a dull crunching sound. "Onw more time...and you're gonna go snap!" He twists it sharply to the left, and that is the end of the guard. Ikusa chortles at his work of anguish and sits atop the dead guard, revoling in his chortling and murder.

A shadow laid over the girl. It was his shadow. He watched as the kids scurried and how the girl continued to lay on the ground. "Um...Hello...". Kaosu said as he reached his hand out.

Reason notices that her sun is suddenly blocked from her view. She blinks and looks up at the man. Her heart pounds in her chest and she's unsure what to do. She sees him hold his hand out and Reason takes it and stands up. "Um...Hi...Thanks for uh, not leaving." She says. What the hell is she doing? She wanted him to stay, didn't she? Then how come her tongue was all twisted and tied?

Ikusa stops laughing after a while and gets off the ded man. He turns towards the injured guard who is now wimpering and holding his arm while doubling over on the ground. "You can ive...I guess.." Ikusa turns towards the main market place and begins to make his way to a fruit stand in sight.

Kaosu stood there for awhile in the awkward silence. "Ya..." His voice came out as if it were a cold breeze. "Sorry for walking away earlier...just impulse..." He looked away, trying to avoid eye contact by watching the merchant men at work. His body twinged for a quick second and Kaosu then looked down to his slightly shaking right arm. "Sorry..." His cold breath emerged again and his bright yellow eyes looked into Reason's. "I have to go Reason..." And then he turned to the right and walked away with the cold air around him.

Reason watched him go for a few seconds. "I never told you my name..." She whispers to herself. Her eyes widen. Could he be...? She begins to follow the man, wanting to let him know he was forgiven for the earlier incident in the forest. He looked panicked for a slight second, but why? Was there something wrong internally? Externally? Or even possibly both? Reason set her mouth in a thin tight line and she follows him, pulling her hood up to cover her pink hair.

Ikusa stops walking and stand snear a fruit stand as he sees the the scene unfolding. He wtches the man intetly until he walks away. Was the man perhaps scared? He did not know....but the girl..oh..yes..the girl...he recognized her alright. His assassin from the forest. Ikusa stares at the girl as she gets up and begins to walk. Ikusa then giggles, a it too loudly, probably jus loud enough for the girl to hear it and know something was not right. As he giggled, he grabbed an apple and bit it to it. He threw a coupe pieces of coin at the vendor.

Valen appeared wearing all black. His nose was upturned at the smell of animals and ripened fruits. to this he was becoming more sin-like. Pride: in anything he did. He began walking around having commited the picture of reason to memory. He was smiling a self conceited sort of smile. As he turned a corner, he saw the woman talking with the man he had met... Ikusa was it well anyway, a few words should deter him if worse came to worse. He started making his way over their, using all his stealth he could, he was determined not to be seen until the moment came.

Kaosu slithered his way threw the town square crowd. He zoomed by every person without being noticed or at least physically. He looked for an exit with each passing second but to many people blocked every way. "Ughhh..." He muttered to himself then stopped. He then pulled a mask from his pocket and put it on his face and then jumped above the crowd onto the roof tops. A few noticed and pointed but then went back to there calling chores. Kaosu stood there observing the town.

Reason notices Ikusa, the crazy fucker that assumed she was some sort of assassin. It'd be best to leave him alone. The back of her neck tingled and she felt as if she were being watched. She turned and saw a man staring at her. A Sin? Here in the market place? Why was he watching her? ...Reason is suddenly struck with possibility. Xylina? Had Xylina sent someone from the palace to drag Reason back? Reason sees Kaosu jump up onto the building and she sees him survey the town. She notices a nearby ladder and she climbs up onto the building. She stands behind him and the wind blows softly.

"Hey...I never told you my name." She says to him. "Can I just talk to you? I have some questions that I think you might be able to answer."

"Listen to the tales and romanticize
How we'd follow the path of the hero
Boast about the day when the rivers overrun
How we rise to the height of our halo"

He slowly recited the poem loud enough so the both of them could hear. After it was finished he sighed to himself and turned to look at the girl coldly in the eyes. "What is it you want from me..."

Valen looked up surveying the layout of the roofs. He began jumping up to the roofs, throwing logic to the wind, he was going in full throttle, he'd take her, and anyyone else out. He was the demon king for god's sake. He also put his mask on, his eyes turned black, and he snapped as he reached a large gap between roofs. When he snapped, he was enveloped in a wormhole and came out the other side, with no decrease in momentum.

Ikusa munches on the apple a bit as he watches Reason go up the ladder. He sensed someone else was here. One with great, demonic power. He couldn't see, but he assumed it was the man whom he had met eralier. Valentia, no doubt. He smiled to himslef and laughed, which..was loud enough to stop most shoppers in their tracks to turn their heads and stare at Ikusa. He looks around wildly. "What? Wt is it? uh? Stop looking at me!" He suddenly goes calm, slips on his mask and walks towards a nearby bench. I the meantime, he drops his papple on the ground and leaves it.

Reason's intuition suddenly kicks in, and her mind screams for her to run. She wildly whips around to see no one...yet. She shudders and her gut urges her to leave quickly. But for some reason, Reason couldn't let Kaosu out of her sight.

"Look, I want you to know you're forgiven for scratching the hell outta me in the forest, that is, if you were even sorry about it in the first place." She returns his cold look with one of her own, her eyes giving him a frosty chill. Reason looks around, her stomach going queasy with uneasiness. What the hell? She slowly and nonchalantly relaxes her hand on her mask. "But please, right now, come with me." She motions towards the ladder.

He finally reached the roof where kaosu and reason were conversing. Now was the time, he began a paced walking towards reason, while in the process, he began to turn demonic, his nails, which he would need, were beginning to grow longer, sharper, and stronger. Valen knew of Kaosu a demon in respect, but lesser to Valen himself.

As he was approaching he began "Xylina disapproves of your extra-curricular activities." as he said this there was a smirk running across his face. he had began to grow taller, and more stout. When he smirked there was a distinct change of size in his canines.
